The alarm clock was never created to be ignored. It was designed to disrupt your sleep and announce that it’s time to WAKE UP. Yet many of us have trained ourselves to live in delay. The snooze button has become our silent agreement with procrastination. Instead of getting up when called, we choose comfort for a little while longer.
Thing about this is, Life has alarms too! Destiny has alarms. God has alarms. They sound in moments when you feel the tug to start writing the book, to launch the business, to heal the relationship, or to finally pursue what has been stirring in your spirit. These alarms are reminders that it’s time to move, not pause.
Still, too often we silence them. We say, “I’ll start tomorrow.” Or “I’m not ready yet.” But every time you hit snooze on your calling, you delay the breakthrough that was waiting for you on the other side of action.
Think about it: the alarm didn’t go off for nothing. The moment you felt the stirring wasn’t random. That was purpose ringing, insisting that you wake up and step into the next season.
So the question isn’t whether the alarm will sound — it already has. The real question is: When will you stop hitting snooze on your next?
Because while you delay, opportunities move on. While you hesitate, doors close. While you wait for “later,” destiny is standing at the edge of “now.”
You don’t have to feel fully ready — you just have to get up. Progress is not about perfection; it’s about motion. God doesn’t need you to have every detail figured out, He just needs you awake enough to say yes.
This is just one of the THINGS IM FEELING:
Take a moment to reflect: What alarm has been ringing in your life that you keep hitting snooze on?
Drop your thoughts in the comments below. Let’s wake up together and hold each other accountable to stop delaying what we’re called to do.
