There are moments in life when everything feels like it’s unraveling. Chaos swirls around you. Plans fall apart. Answers seem distant. And your natural instinct is to fix it, flee from it, or figure it out on your own.
But what if God is whispering, “Sit in it. Don’t run. Don’t fight. Be still.”
This isn’t about ignoring the reality of what you’re facing—it’s about shifting how you respond. The chaos may look like failure, disappointment, delay, or spiritual warfare, but what if the chaos is the place where revelation is waiting?
God invites you to sit in your chaos, pray, and seek His face—not just His hand.
Too often we come to Him for what He can give—the solution, the blessing, the open door. And while He is a loving Father who provides, there’s a deeper level of relationship available: seeking His face. That means desiring His presence more than His provision, His will more than our wants, His wisdom more than our plans.
When you shift your posture from panic to prayer, from begging to beholding, from striving to seeking—something powerful happens. You begin to experience the peace that surpasses understanding. You start to hear His voice more clearly. You discover that He has already worked out what you’ve been worrying about.
Your chaos becomes the classroom where God reveals what you couldn’t see when life felt calm. And as Romans 8:18 reminds us, “For I reckon that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory which shall be revealed in us.” The very things that feel heavy right now are producing a glory and revelation you couldn’t access any other way.
This is just one of the Things Im Feeling!
Ask yourself ...
What chaos are you currently facing that you’ve been trying to run from or fix on your own?
How can you intentionally slow down today to seek His face rather than just His hand?
What might God be trying to reveal to you in this moment rather than after it passes?
