It’s Footstool Season
Your Enemies Were Never Meant to Win, Only to Lift
Some of the very areas that felt like resistance… were actually rehearsal.
Some of the people who tried to oppose me… were unknowingly positioning me.
And some of the pressure I felt?
It wasn’t meant to crush me.
It was meant to condition me.
There’s a shift that happens when you stop viewing adversaries as attackers and start seeing them as architects of your elevation.
You learn your adversary not to obsess over them, but to understand the assignment.
Every adversary reveals something:
They expose your weaknesses.
They sharpen your awareness.
They force you to grow.
They refine your execution.
They teach you strategy.
If nobody ever challenged you, you would never stretch.
If nobody ever doubted you, you might never develop the discipline to prove yourself consistent.
If nobody ever resisted you, you might never build the muscle required for the weight of what you’re asking for.
We talk about enemies becoming our footstool. That sounds poetic. Powerful. Spiritual.
But a footstool only works if you step on it.
You don’t argue with a footstool.
You don’t negotiate with a footstool.
You use it.
The very thing that tried to rise above you becomes the platform you rise from.
And here’s the part that hit me hardest:
Sometimes your adversary isn’t a person.
Sometimes it’s fear.
Sometimes it’s insecurity.
Sometimes it’s delay.
Sometimes it’s distraction.
Sometimes it’s your own hesitation.
But once you recognize it, you stop being intimidated by it.
You strategize around it.
This is not a season of reacting.
This is a season of rising.
This is not a season of explaining yourself.
This is a season of executing.
Every obstacle?
Becoming elevation.
Every closed door?
Becoming direction.
Every adversary?
Becoming a footstool.
And when you step on what tried to stop you, you realize something powerful:
It was never strong enough to defeat you.
It was only strong enough to develop you.
It’s Footstool Season.
And I’m not fighting for position anymore.
I’m stepping into it.
This is just one of the THINGS IM FEELING!
