If His Word Can’t Return Void, Then Proof Is On the Way
It’s been a while since I last wrote. Life has been happening for all of us especially for those who are purpose-filled, purpose-chasing and purpose-pressed. Sometimes the ones who carry the most promise also carry the most pressure. But something hit me this morning so clearly that I had to sit down and finally put pen to paper:
“If His Word can’t return void, then proof is on the way.”
That one sentence arrested me. It pulled me back into a place of faith I didn’t even realize I had stepped away from. There are moments where you don’t need another prophecy, another meeting, another “word of encouragement.” You just need a reminder of what God already promised.
Because if His Word can’t return void, then something major is about to show up as proof.
Lately, I’ve been feeling this; not loud, but strong. Not emotional, but anchored. It’s a quiet confidence that shows up when you stop striving and start trusting again. The kind that surfaces when you finally release your timelines and realize Heaven never needed your calendar to perform.
We forget this sometimes. We get stuck in the in-between. The space between what God said and what we haven’t seen yet. And in that space, doubt starts whispering. Delay starts talking. Disappointment starts narrating your story like it has the final say.
But here’s the truth that grounded me this morning: If God’s Word had the capacity to fail, it would have failed already and your life would’ve exposed it.
But it didn’t.
And it won’t.
Because when God speaks, the Word itself carries the assignment. It doesn’t need your strength, your perfection, or your flawless timing. All it needs is your agreement.
And even when you temporarily stop agreeing… the Word still refuses to die.
Think about that.
Every promise God spoke over you is out there working, shifting, aligning, preparing, maturing, arranging & Timelines rearrange. Resources relocate. People connected to your promise begin to feel a pull toward your name. Heaven goes into motion the moment God speaks.
So when I heard that sentence in my spirit…
“If His Word can’t return void, then proof is on the way”
I realized that the delay was never denial. It was development.
Proof doesn’t always show up early.
But it always shows up on time.
And when it comes, it won’t be subtle.
It won’t be questionable.
It won’t be up for debate.
It will be the kind of proof that makes you whisper,
“Only God could’ve done this.”
So if you’re in a season where you’re believing, or barely holding on, or just trying to survive another day of waiting, this is your reminder:
God is not sending His Word back empty-handed.
It will accomplish.
It will perform.
It will prosper in the very place He sent it.
This isn’t your season to panic.
This is your season to prepare.
Proof is coming and it’s coming with weight.
This is just one of the
Things I’m Feeling!
